As a Senior Associate with ADE, managed the preparation of the city’s first-ever economic development plan. Designed and facilitated public outreach process, including survey of corporate employees and small businesses. Documented economic and industrial market trends impacting business location deci-sions. Benchmarked the city to similar communities in the Bay Area relative to economic, educational, housing, population and social characteristics. While a consultant with Collaborative Economics, Inc., prepared of the annual Index of Silicon Valley. The Index measures progress toward the goals articulated in Silicon Valley 2010 and is the Valley’s most reliable source of statistics and insights about its economy and quality of life. It is instrumental in focus-ing regional leadership and resources on the Valley’s most critical economic sustainability issues.

Santa Clara County: Project Lead, Strategic Vision Program, 1993

As a Planner assigned to the County Executive’s Office, was lead staff to Strategic Vision, the countywide strategic planning program to prepare all County agencies and communities for the next decade’s most critical economic and quality of life issues. Designed and implemented planning and public outreach processes, coordinating County departments and agencies and business and community leaders.
